Privacy Policy

Supplement updated September 7, 2026. This section explains how we handle information from Google Drive and media you import from asset sources such as Frame.io. It supplements this Privacy Policy and takes precedence over its general descriptions of data use and sharing for these imports.

Access and collection

You choose the files, folders or shares to make available in your Marketer workspace. Publicly accessible Google Drive links can be accessed through Google's API without connecting your Google account. For restricted Drive content, you can authorize a workspace connection with read-only Drive access. Frame.io uses an authorized workspace connection. Our connection service provider, Nango, manages these connections. Authorization credentials are handled server-side, not shared with other workspace members. We also retain connection identity and status information to display and manage the connection.

Saving a source stores a catalog of file names, folder structure, media types, sizes, modification times and source references. We may retrieve thumbnails to display previews. Saving or refreshing a source does not copy its original media into Marketer's asset storage. Catalogs refresh when a source is saved, when you request a refresh, or when you open a source whose catalog needs updating. Background processing may complete or recover work already requested.

Use and sharing

When you select files and import them, Marketer copies those media files into storage used by the service and keeps records needed to track the import and its destination. Saved sources, catalogs and imported assets belong to your workspace and may be available to members according to their permissions. Only add sources you are authorized to make available to that workspace.

Imported assets are used in the workflows you choose. Brief workflows can trigger automated visual analysis and ad-copy generation, including when an import completes delivery of an order. These functions can send selected visuals and relevant Brief or workspace context to service providers processing AI requests for Marketer. When you use imported assets in advertising workflows, selected media and relevant ad information can be transferred to a connected advertising platform, such as Meta, to prepare or publish ads. Importing a file alone does not create a live advertisement.

Google API data is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements, and the applicable Google Workspace API User Data and Developer Policy. The general marketing, advertising and business-partner provisions elsewhere in this Privacy Policy do not authorize additional uses or transfers of Google API data beyond those policies. Describing a workflow here is not a statement of Google verification or approval.

Retention and your controls

We retain source catalogs, imported media and related records as needed to provide the service and meet the retention purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Removing a saved source stops its use as a saved source. Disconnecting an account removes Marketer's managed connection for future authorized access. You can also revoke Google authorization in your Google Account connections. Disconnecting does not prevent access to links you have separately saved as public sources.

Removing a source or disconnecting an account does not automatically delete previously imported copies, retained catalog or import records, Brief content, or material already transferred to another service. To request deletion of information held by Marketer, contact support@marketer.com. Information already transferred to another service is also subject to that service's controls and retention policies.

Sale of Personal Information of Minors Under 16 Years of Age

We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors under the age of 16 through our Service, although certain third party websites that we link to may do so. These third-party websites have their own terms of use and privacy policies and We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and instruct their children to never provide information on other websites without their permission.

Consumers who opt-in to the sale of personal information may opt-out of future sales at any time. To exercise the right to opt-out, You (or Your authorized representative) may submit a request to Us by contacting Us.

If You have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 (or 16) has provided Us with personal information, please contact Us with sufficient detail to enable Us to delete that information.
